Objectives: | The aim of the Digital Design course is; To understand the operation of sequential logic circuits, to gain the ability to design digital circuits using sequential logic circuit elements, to explain the structure of Digital/Analog and Analog/Digital converters, and to gain the ability to build and operate sequential logic, DAC and ADC circuits. |
Content: | Operational characteristics and functioning of holders and flip-flops used in sequential logic circuits. Operation of single-shot and timer circuits. Operation and design of counter circuits. Structure and operation of sliding registers. Structure and operation of Digital/Analog and Analog/Digital converters. Design of digital circuits using sequential logic integrated circuit elements such as counters and shift registers. |
