Based on these reasons, the aim of the course is to equip students with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in analysis, design and application areas. |
| Content: | Data modeling and logical design of databases in the course; data description, processing and control languages; physical design of databases; Programming with SQL; data access standards; transaction management and client-server systems are discussed. In the field of database management, some advanced topics such as object oriented databases, distributed databases and data warehouses are also mentioned. |
