This program aims to raise Child Development Expert who evaluates intellectual, language, motor, social and emotional development and self-care skills of the children who have typical development, disabilities and are at risk age between 0-18. These experts also support the child, parents and the other educators interms of all domains of development.
The primary goal of the Child Development is to support the development of children with normal, special needs, sick, protected and at risk children aged 0-18 years.
Students who graduate from this program can work both at the state-owned and private institutions and organizations, NGO's, and they also can continue to the master programs in the related areas.
The child is the future of a society. Every event experienced in childhood is reflected in the future. For this reason, Child Development Experts, who are involved in every field where there is a child, are of great importance for the period between 0-18 years. It is the most important duty of a Child Development Expert, to provide counseling to parents, to evaluate the child developmentally, to support development, to prepare an early intervention program in order to form solid generations in the healthy passage of childhood, which affects the future of both the individual and the society.
Children apply what they see, not what they are told. In this direction, anyone who will be an example for children, who is basically a human lover, who is committed to ethical values, who is open to innovations, new ideas, different thoughts, who can look from different windows, who can produce ideas that will benefit children and humanity, and who respects human and children's rights can choose this profession. We invite our Turkish and International students who want to take advantage of the opportunity to study in 100% English in the Department of Child Development in the Faculty of Health to shed light on the future.
The students who graduated from this program can work in the related fields such as development of child and adolescents and special education.
Students of this program can be transfered between the internal and external programs in the departments of health sciences.
