AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	Periodontal histolojinin teorik ve pratik temel eğitiminin verilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

Sağlıklı ve hastalıklı dişetinin histolojik, anatomik, biyokimyasal ve klinik özelliklerini bilir, periodontal hastalık patogenez basamaklarını bilir. Muayene (teorik) (explain) 2. Periodontal dokuların savunma mekanizmalarını kavrar (analyze) 3. Konak faktörlerinin periodontal sağlık ve hastalık durumundaki önemini kavrar (analyze) 4. Periodontal hastalıkların etyolojik faktörlerini inceler (diş taşı, plak tespiti ve sekonder faktörler) (analyze) 5. Mikrobiyal dental plak ve konak cevabı arasındaki etkileşimleri bilir (analyze) 6.
