AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	The aim of the course is to make students interpret the movements of ideas, ideological breaks and approaches that have shaped the political processes until the last periods of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of the Turkish Republic, on a historical and theoretical level.
İçerik:	The content of the course covers the factors that shaped the pre-modern classical Turkish political thought, the intellectual movements that emerged in the modernization period, their ideological effects, their ruptures, the intellectual movements before the Republic, the struggles for power, and the intellectual movements that shaped the foundation of the Republic and affected the political life in the following years.

Uses the information obtained in political philosophy and political history to comprehend Turkish political thoughts.
Compares the political movements and approaches in Turkey historically with each other.
While examining current political movements or thoughts, he combines the intellectual heritage of the movements that have shaped the Turkish political movement.
Evaluates the political developments and debates in Turkey with the ideas that have left their mark on Turkish political life.
