Aim and Objectives

Aim of the Program

The program aims to teach students laboratory techniques, introduce the tools, equipment, and instruments used in analytical processes, and equip them with the skills required to work effectively in laboratory environments.

  1. To educate competent graduates who possess a strong theoretical foundation in basic mathematics, natural sciences, and laboratory sciences, and who can comprehend laboratory techniques, instrumentation, chemical handling, and analytical principles.

  2. To train laboratory technicians who are capable of applying modern laboratory methods used in food, water, plant–soil, chemical, and medical analyses, and who are competent in sampling, solution preparation, instrument operation, and data evaluation processes.

  3. To educate individuals who follow current developments in laboratory technologies, are open to learning new instruments and methods, adopt the principle of lifelong learning, and can quickly adapt to changing sectoral conditions.

  4. To educate qualified laboratory technicians who can work in quality control, production, and research laboratories in both public and private sectors, effectively use laboratory instruments, and meet the needs of the industry.

Objectives of the Program

The aim is to teach students laboratory techniques, introduce the tools and instruments used in analytical procedures, and equip them with the skills required to work effectively in a laboratory environment.

Mission

To educate competent laboratory technicians who possess a strong knowledge base in basic sciences and laboratory fields, can effectively apply modern laboratory techniques, prioritize scientific accuracy in analytical processes, adhere to quality and safety standards, uphold professional ethical values, follow technological developments, and undertake qualified roles in public and private sector laboratories.

Vision

To become a leading program that is recognized at national and international levels by educating graduates specialized in food, water, plant–soil, chemical, and medical analyses; capable of using innovative laboratory techniques; equipped with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; preferred by the industry; and exemplary in terms of educational quality, research infrastructure, and practical competence.
