OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with the typological building information and the competence to analyse the spaces in these buildings functionally.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as notion of space and its components, construction-building concept, fundamental factors affecting building planning and design, function analyses, buildings in terms of their typology, their categorisation, design, principles of planning and space organisation.

Define typologically a building. (1)
Classify buildings in terms of typology. (2)
Solve the typologies of different buildings in terms of planning and function analysis principles. (3)
Organize building typologies in accordance with the principles of design, planning and space organization. (3)
Develop the relations of attached building typologies with different solutions. (3)
