OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to enable students to acquire the skills to analyze, interpret, develop designs, and make professional presentations, taking into account environmental, spatial, and user relationships, in a way that ensures the functionality of a cultural center building with multiple floors, a basement, and a landscape area.
Contents of the Course Unit: Within the scope of the course, the spatial programming, functional organization, evaluation of urban and environmental relationships, analysis of existing building and site conditions, and the translation of these analyses into design for a multi-story cultural center with a basement and landscape area will be addressed. Students are expected to develop original design proposals, produce technical drawings, diagrams, 3D visuals, and models, and present their projects to the jury in accordance with professional presentation standards.

Define the functional components and user profiles of the cultural center.
Analyze the spatial relationships between the cultural center and its surroundings and users.
Evaluate the existing structural and environmental conditions of the multi-story cultural center building.
Develop an original and functional conceptual design for the cultural center.
Professionally present your design using technical drawings, 3D models, and mockups.
Defend the project design process and outcome before the jury in a clear, consistent, and critical manner.

2 Preparing research files with examples on the culture center Reviewing the prepared research files. Addressing the scenario creation process in line with the functional requirements and environmental data of the cultural center. 3 Preparing concept research and sketch research die plates over samples Clarifying the concept of the cultural center building, which will have multiple floors, a basement, and a landscaped area, in line with the specified scenarios, and preparing floor plans by sketching and marking on the existing 1/50 scale project. 4 Sketch with alternatives complying with concept and function and research on external wall and street silhouette Organizing the spaces specific to the cultural center structure (exhibition areas, workshops, performance spaces, social areas) with multiple floors, a basement, and a landscape area in accordance with the specified scenarios, and preparing floor plans by conducting sketch and spot studies on the existing project at a scale of 1/50.
