OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Preschool education definition, scope and importance to comprehend, to serve individual characteristics of teachers and tasks, understand the preschool education in the physical conditions in educational environments to explain the annual and daily plans understand the work
Contents of the Course Unit: Early childhood in Turkey and in the world of early childhood and pre-school, pre-school education definition, principles, importance and benefits of pre-school education, fundamental views and pre-historical development of education in the world and in Turkey pre-school education present situation of pre-school children the basic features and requirements, preschool teacher characteristics, pre-school education institution types (nursery school, kindergarten, etc..), the pre-school physical, social and educational environment features, pre-school education during the family's role and importance
