Contents of the Course Unit: | Early childhood in Turkey and in the world of early childhood and pre-school, pre-school education definition, principles, importance and benefits of pre-school education, fundamental views and pre-historical development of education in the world and in Turkey pre-school education present situation of pre-school children the basic features and requirements, preschool teacher characteristics, pre-school education institution types (nursery school, kindergarten, etc..), the pre-school physical, social and educational environment features, pre-school education during the family's role and importance |
