OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge, attitudes and skills related to the basic concepts and theories in management, the management and organization of health services, the planning, organization, execution and coordination of nursing services.
Contents of the Course Unit: Concepts and Theories Related to Management, Management Process, Management Process of Nursing Services, Management of Change in Nursing, Health System and Policies, Nursing Legislation, TPC and Nursing, Management Ethics, Leadership, Leadership in Nursing, Communication Management, Teamwork, Conflict Management, Total Quality Management, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Case Discussion, Patient Safety, Employee Safety, Nurse Manpower Planning, Human Resources Management in Nursing Services, Career Development, Motivation, Burnout, Stress Management, Organizational Structure and Processes, Organizational Culture and Performance Evaluation.
