OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to explain the students of the psychology department for one semester about how our social feelings, behaviours and thoughts are affected by the social structure and process. The first part of a two-semester course focuses on social interaction. The relation of the theoretical framework with the social structure, and field research are conveyed through an intercultural perspective. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include subjects such as Definition of the field, the historical development process, main theoretical and methodological issues, social beliefs and judgements, social context of ego, attitudes and behaviours, conformity and obedience, persuasion and group effect. |
