OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to provide comprehensive information about the basic features, historical development, similarities, differences and reflections of civilizations
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes : The meaning and history of the civilization concept, the characteristics of the civilizations that lived in Anatolia, the political, social, economic and cultural structures of the Greco-Hellenic, Roman-Byzantine, Mesopotamia, Egyptian and Iranian civilizations

Define the concept and development of civilization.
Classify civilizations as historical.
Compare between different civilizations.
Interpret the culture, history, religion and art features of civilizations in Anatolia.
