OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to teach the students some methods that interacts with the decision maker to solve multi-objective decision problems.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic Concepts of Decision Making; Modeling of Decision Making Problems and Solution Methods; Ahp, Topsis, Electre, etc. Decision Making Methodology.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Determine the basic multi-criteria decision making criteria
Create a hierarchical structure of decision making problems.
Apply appropriate techniques and methods to solve multi-criteria decision making problems.
Formulate mathematical programs to model the decision problem.
Interpret the results.
