Objectives of the Course Unit: | To identify impressions and perspectives about new phenomena and new forms of communication with communication technologies and social media, and to raise awareness about social media and social media marketing. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The course content covers; emergence of social media, definition, features, effects of social media, social media tools, social media literacy, rights and responsibilities in social media, information security, privacy and ethics in social media, social media and health, self and perception in social media, persuasion on social media, social media and marketing, social media and advertising, social media and public relations, visual and textual language in social media, tips for content management in social media topics. |
