OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help the students gain the knowledge and skills to teach the surfing techniques at an advanced level and to manage the windsurfing and the training program specific to the wave surfing.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include concepts related with surfing, windsurfing, wave surfing, safety and first aid in surfing, wind types, technical implementation and teaching of surfing.

Define the basic concepts related to water sports and surfing.
Describe and apply the basic principles applied in surfing instruction.
Apply the surfing techniques at an advanced level.
Teach surfing techniques.
Manage the training program specific to windsurfing and wave surfing.
