OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to organize sports activities and projects that involve social responsibility and social sensitivity.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; general information about social sensitivity, definition and importance of community service practices, determining the current problems of community, the definition of the project and the project preparation stages, Individual report, activity report and project report, Discussion of the projects to solve the current problems of community, methods used in the implementation of the projects, general information about the implementation of community service studies in schools and methods and assessment of the projects.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Describe the general concepts related with volunteering and social sensitivity.
Describe the importance of community service applications.
Explain the methods for planning, conducting and reporting social projects for community service applications.
Organize sport activities and projects about social responsibility and social sensitivity.
