OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students the ability to examine the sport activities and training programs of the individuals or groups subject to the training programs, to evaluate the content suitability and to prepare the training program specific to the sports branch.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the Course include; Physical and Physiological Requirements of Training, Motor Characteristics and Its importance in Training Knowledge, Training Methods for Development of Motor Characteristics, Specific Physical and Physiological Needs.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain basic knowledge and concepts about training information.
Execute branch specific training programs as trainer.
Analyze the data obtained regarding the performance specific to the branch by using scientific research methods and techniques before and after the training program.
Examine the sporting activities and training programs of the individuals or groups subject to the training programs and evaluate the fitness of the content.
Prepare training program specific for the branch.
