OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students gain the ability and knowledge to apply basic technical skills specific to the field, to be able to play in the categories of singles and doubles, and to study game techniques.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course include definition and concepts related to badminton, history of Badminton sport, rules of Badminton game, types of strokes used in Badminton sports, use of tools and equipment, technical and tactical information.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Describe the basic concepts of badminton sport.
Use basic technical-tactical skills specific to the badminton branch.
Apply badminton game rules in the form of match.
Apply matches in all badminton categories (singles, doubles).
Examine Badminton game techniques.
