OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students gain the ability to apply the advanced techniques of Ice Skating, to teach the basic techniques and to prepare the training program.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; basic concepts related to training science in ice skating, forward and backward slide techniques, ice skating double foot spin and walls jump jumping techniques, ice skating special training techniques, ice skating sports training programs, ice skating sports training program preparation methods.

Define the basic concepts of training planning in Ice Skating.
Describe and apply teaching methods related with the basic techniques of Ice Skating.
Apply advanced techniques specific to Ice Skating.
Evaluate the fitness of the content of the program by examining the training programs specific to Ice Skating.
Prepare a training program for Ice Skating.
