OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skill to teach the techniques specific to the boxing branch, to analyze the application of the movements technically and to prepare a specific training program.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include boxing branch competition rules and scoring, teaching steps, analyzing the technical applications of basic movements and preparing training programs specific to the field.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the basic concepts of teaching methods used in boxing.
Describe and apply the teaching steps of the techniques of the boxing.
Teach combinations of defense and stroke techniques of boxing.
Analyze and evaluate the appropriateness of the application of movements specific to the boxing.
Design a training program for boxing sports.
