This course covers the fundamental concepts, technological components, and application areas of remote patient monitoring systems; the structure of sensors, data collection devices, mobile and wireless communication infrastructure, and monitoring platforms; the monitoring of biological parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation; the functions of related systems in healthcare; and example applications of hardware and software infrastructure and data transmission processes used in patient monitoring. |
