| Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts, technological components, and application areas of patient monitoring systems, as well as the monitoring of biological parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | This course covers the fundamental concepts, technological components, and application areas of remote patient monitoring systems; the structure of sensors, data collection devices, mobile and wireless communication infrastructure, and monitoring platforms; the monitoring of biological parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation; the functions of related systems in healthcare; and example applications of hardware and software infrastructure and data transmission processes used in patient monitoring. |
