Objectives: The aim of the course is to define the concept of media audience and to reveal the place of media audience theories in communication theories and examining the models, theories and approaches gathered under the heading of media audience theories.
Content: The content of the course is place and importance of media audience theories in communication studies, definition of audience and various approaches to the audience term, media audience theories in liberal communication theories, cultural studies and media rating.
