| Objectives: |
This course aims to enable students to identify and grasp the concepts such as the migration, to learn and analyze the theories related with the phenomenon of immigration, to know that the releasing factors which determine the migration phenomenon and analyze the results, to evaluate the migration phenomenon experienced in Turkey and in the world, to analyze the relationship between migration and ethnicity, migration and ethnicity, ethnicity and identity. |

Contents of the course include; basic concepts related to migration, migration phenomenon and theories / migration revealing dynamics, migration types (immigration and emigration), migration-urbanization and modernization relations, migration experienced in Turkey and in the World, Global migration movements; Ethnicity and Identity concepts, Identity identifying factors, migration, ethnicity and identity relation, Ethnicity and identity discussions. |
