Objectives and Contents

Objectives: It's aimed to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding the fundamental processes of nutritional biochemistry, such as cell organelles, metabolic integration, and the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, as well as their effects on biological systems.
Content: Introduction to nutritional biochemistry and metabolism, cells and organelles, biomolecules, cellular pathways and biosignal transduction, classification and metabolism of amino acid and proteins, heme metabolism, biological amines, nucleic acid synthesis and degradation, DNA and RNA metabolism, metabolic integration.
