AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to provide the students with the ability to design furniture according to subjective and objective criteria and to make scale models.
İçerik: Contents of the course include subjects of furniture definition, furniture-interior space relationship, objective-subjective factors affecting the form of furniture and its relationship with design principles, introduction of ergonomics concept, concept of modular furniture, making original furniture design, making scale model.

List the factors affecting the form of furniture.
Relate the form of furniture with design principles.
Develop furniture in interior space-furniture relation as modular.
Design with scaled model, prototype, drawing and 3D modelling.
Design original furniture.
Defend furniture design before a jury.
