AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	The Doctoral thesis is research work designed for a second cycle degree in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION with the course codes SBE601, SBE602 and SBE603 in the last three succeeding semesters of the programme, each having 30 ECTS Credits. The objective of the doctoral thesis is to develop and demonstrate the ability of the students to identify and clarify a problem or an issue in the field by systematically applying the theories and research methods acquired through their undergraduate, graduate and master studies and to carry out demanding specialist tasks independently at the end of their Doctora's programme.
İçerik:	Thesis work is a learning process which comprises (1) the analysing phase, characterised by defining a topic of interest for the thesis and familiarisation with it, data collection and processing, and justification of the subject of thesis. This includes objectives, delimitations to be defined, identification of the problem(s) to be solved or development(s) to be achieved; (2) the planning phase, during which the student considers what the information gathered on the subject signifies and is relevant in terms of the objective of the thesis. This includes presentation of the theoretical framework in relation the thesis title based on the results of literature survey, data collection and relate the theory to the topic of thesis and defining the procedures, methods and techniques to be used for proper development and implementation of the thesis work, (3) the implementation phase, where the development tasks are carried out in accordance with the plan and the development process is evaluated and monitored; (4) the evaluation phase, involving deliberation and the drawing of conclusions; and (5) the publication phase, in which the thesis is written, edited, delivered, presented and defended.

Comprehend and systematically integrate theoretical and factual knowledge required for specialization as well as providing the basis for the development of original ideas in a field of work or learning,
Comprehend the interdisciplinary interactions of the work in relations other disciplines,
Create, analyse and/or assess scientific issues in theories and methods
Comprehend the contents of the relevant literature and relate this to the thesis work.
Formulate issues, plan and carry out advanced tasks within specified time limits
Demonstrate ability to clearly present and discuss thesis results using written, oral and visual techniques
