AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to; examine the strategic importance of leadership behaviour, analyze leadership behaviours within the framework of various theories and approaches and gain knowledge and skills about leadership.
İçerik: Contents of the course include; subjects as in the concept of leadership, differences of leadership and management, behavioural, situative and contemporary leadership theories, leadership and motivation, leadership and ethics.

Identify the concept of leadership.
Explain the concepts of manager and leader comparatively.
Relate between leadership styles and motivation.
Evaluate the characteristics approach, behavioural approach and situational approach in leadership comparatively.
Summarize historical development of theories of leadership.
