AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	This course aims to introduce the field of Developmental Psychology and basic concepts; analysis of developmental stages from infancy to adulthood from biological, behavioural, cognitive and psychological aspects.
İçerik:	Contents of the course include subjects as in biological, cognitive, social phases and the processes in personality from birth to adulthood, basic concepts and empirical researches in the development of human.

Explain the field of Developmental Psychology and basic concepts following the life-long change beginning from the pre-natal period. (Bloom’s 2)
Compare infancy, early childhood, preschool stages from biological, behavioural, cognitive and psychosocial aspects (Bloom’s 2)
Use critical reading and analytic thinking skills. (Bloom’s 3)
Apply research methods in the field of Developmental Psychology. (Bloom’s 3)
Explain physical, cognitive and socioemotional features in the infancy, early childhood and middle childhood period (Bloom’s 2)
