Amaç: | The purpose of this course is to give the basic understanding of the nature and the causes of production, trade, terms of trade, North-South trade relations, foreign debt, foreign direct investment, global production system, and the topics which form the basis of 'international political economy'. |
İçerik: | Theories which attempt to explain international trade. Theories of comparative advantage based on labour productivity and natural resources. New trade theories. International factor movements. The instruments of trade policy. The political economy of trade policy. Trade policy in developing countries. Controversies in trade policy. |
