AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: The objective of the course is to enable students to analyze past and current events in the context of communication theories by learning the communication theories.
İçerik: Contents of the course include theories of communication, recognition the effects of communication on culture and society, analysis of the structure of mass media tools and interpreting the connection between media and people.

Explain what theory is and what it does.
Studens who has taken this course,can explain the relationship between theory, research and science.
Have the ability to apply theories in real life experiences and professional work.
He/she can evaluate that every theory has certain limitations and has the ability to test the appropriate theory in his research, with the awareness that not every theory can be applied in every research.
List the communication theories in a chronological order.
