Amaç: | Students taking this course; To raise awareness about how the media affects segments of society at local and global levels, the role it plays in the change and transformation of every ring of the social system, and how it affects economy, politics and culture. Ensuring and supporting the development of an attitude towards producing media products that prioritize the public interest. |
İçerik: | In this course, students who take the course; communication and sociology relationship, theoretical approaches to media, media and social change, media and social movements, media as a social system, Culture and media, Democracy, politics and media, Media and violence, Advertising, Economy and Media, Human Rights and Communication, New Media (internet) and network society, Digital technologies, individual and society, international communication and globalization are given. |
