AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to provide students with an introduction to sociological theories by supporting their sociological viewpoint with theories; to prepare a theoretical basis for future studies in the field of sociology.
İçerik: Contents of the course include; Classical origins of sociology, Structuralism-Functionalism, Critical Theory, Symbolic Interactionism, important schools, ethnomethodology, Shopping and Network theories, Contemporary Feminist Theory and lectures and presentations about prominent sociologists.
