Amaç: | The objective of the course to help students gain knowledge to discuss the effects of social characteristics and differences in the development process of sports and recreation in ancient civilizations and modern times. |
İçerik: | The course of the content includes concepts of game, movement, recreation and sports, The concept of movement in the early ages, Movement culture in Sumerian, Egyptian, Hittite, Assyrian and Babylonian civilizations, Movement culture in Turkish and Persian (Persian) civilizations, Movement culture in Chinese and Indian civilizations, Ancient Greek period and the Ancient Olympics, Ancient Roman, Medieval period, the Industrial Revolution and 19th-century modern sports era, the development of modern sports and recreation in Turkey, the social dimension of the modern era, the modern Olympic games include football and cultural issues. |
