AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: To provide students with the language, logic and mathematics of numerical methods used in engineering and science, and to teach them how to use numerical methods to solve problems in a wide range of areas in science, industry and society.
İçerik: Definition of Numerical Analysis and especially its use in engineering applications. Error analysis in numerical methods, analytical solutions, solutions of linear and nonlinear equation systems, approximation methods, interpolation, linear regression, numerical integration.

Students taking this course will; I. Understand the fundamentals of numerical analysis. II. Have the ability to use numerical methods in the analysis of a problem in engineering. III. Have the ability to choose the right solution method for a particular topic.
