AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: It aims to examine the electrophysical principles of electrotherapy, the responses of tissues to electrotherapy modalities commonly used in physiotherapy, and to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes about the mechanisms of action and application methods of low and medium frequency currents.
İçerik: Introduction to electrotherapy, electrophysical principles, electrical properties of cells and tissues, nerve activations, stimulation effects in muscle, galvanic and faradic current applications, pain mechanisms, properties of currents and application methods (TENS, diadynamic current, interferential current, ultra-reactive currents, russian current microcurrents) .

Explains the electrical properties of tissues.
Explains the applications of electrotherapy and its electrophysiological effects on tissues.
Shows competence in applying currents.
When faced with unforeseen problems, takes necessary precautions to protect the patient.
Correlates the currents with the diseases to which these currents will be applied.
Plans the application method of currents in accordance with the disease.
Explains the effects of currents on tissues.
