OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Orta çağ, Rönesans ve Sanayi Devrimi öncesi dönemlerin genel özellikleri ve üretim anlayışları, Sanayi Devrimi sonrası yaşanan değişimler, Yirminci yüzyılın önemli tasarım anlayışları ve bunların günümüz sanat ve tasarımına etkilerini yorumlama becerisi kazandırma
Contents of the Course Unit:	Tasarımın tarihsel, sosyokültürel, siyasi olaylarla ilişkisini kurarak, günümüz tasarımcılarının yorumuna ve yaratıcı süreçlerine katkıda bulunmak, Çağdaş tasarımları tarihsel süreç içinde analiz ederek, tasarımın öncü akımlarını ve eğilimlerini tanıtma konularını kapsamaktadır.

Yirminci yüzyılın önemli tasarım anlayışları ve bunların günümüz sanat ve tasarımına etkilerini açıklar.
Sanat tarihini süreçleriyle günümüz tasarım ve görselliği arasındaki ilişkileri tartışır.
