| Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course teaches students the fundamental principles of the skincare and beauty profession. It prepares them for professional life by equipping them with the skills to use the necessary tools and equipment in the skincare and beauty program, enabling them to achieve healthy and well-groomed beauty. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | The structure, importance, and layers of the skin. Factors affecting skin health. Skin pH balance - Sterilization. Simple skin diseases. Skin types and their diagnosis. Information about tools used in skin diagnosis. Use of devices used in skin care. Applying what has been learned. Skin cleansing with devices. Information about cosmetic products used in skin cleansing. Applying skin cleansing with cosmetic products. |
