OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To acquire the knowledge and skills to type quickly, efficiently, and without errors using the F keyboard on a computer with ten fingers. To enable them to use these skills on all kinds of writing examples. To be able to format text on the computer. To develop the habit of writing in different languages. To learn writing techniques according to Turkish Standards. Also, to be able to instantly transcribe a spoken text/speech using the F keyboard.
Contents of the Course Unit: Keyboard Definition, F Keyboard Letter Layout, Scientific Aspects, Keyboard Definition, Historical Development of the Keyboard, It includes topics such as ergonomics in computers, basic row keys, top row keys, bottom row keys, speed exercises and increasing speed on the Turkish F keyboard.

He/She is familiar with the keyboards used in Turkey.
He/She knows the features of the F keyboard and uses it on the computer.
He/She prepares the ideal working environment for ten-finger typing on the F keyboard.
He/She adjusts the sitting position at the machine.
He/She positions the hands and fingers according to the basic letter order of the F keyboard.
He/She knows the keys in the basic letter order of the F keyboard and uses these keys in sequence.
