| Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to effectively and safely identify, assess, and remotely respond to emergencies within the framework of telehealth applications. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | The course content includes: Concepts of Emergency Medicine and Telehealth, Types of Emergencies and Remote Patient Monitoring, Remote Triage Applications and Classification Systems, Monitoring Vital Signs with Mobile Applications, Telecardiology, TeleNeurology (Stroke, etc.), TeleTrauma and First Aid Examples, Remote Healthcare Service Organization in Disaster Situations, Mobile Health Units and Satellite Communication Systems, Crisis Communication and Ethical Approaches in Telehealth, Instant Decision Support Systems for Healthcare Professionals, Incident Command System and Digital Emergency Management, Real Case Analysis: Remote Emergency Response Scenarios, Application Examples. |
