OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
| Objectives of the Course Unit: |
It provides knowledge and skills related to fluoroscopic, mammographic, and angiographic imaging techniques. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: |
The course will cover the effects of radiation, the properties and effects of X-rays, image acquisition with X-ray devices, basic radiological examinations, how to perform a good radiological examination and obtain the best image, and the necessary topics to protect professionals and patients from the side effects of X-rays. Each week, applications related to the radiological methods discussed will be explained, providing fundamental radiology knowledge that will be useful in professional courses. |
