OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The hemodialysis procedure involves pre-operative preparation, understanding of potential clinical situations during the procedure, and the termination of the dialysis treatment.

he patient will learn about the conditions for admitting patients to hemodialysis. They will learn about the dialysis access routes used for hemodialysis patients.
