Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim is to explain the technical aspects of hemodialysis and to provide general information about the standard systems and consumables required to perform hemodialysis

The student learns about the standard systems found in a hemodialysis center.
They become familiar with the systems and consumables used in hemodialysis (water system, hemodialysis machine, arterial and venous needles and sets, dialyzers, dialysis solutions).
They gain knowledge about dialysis consumables. They learn about single-needle dialysis.
They learn hemodialysis techniques.
