| Objectives of the Course Unit: | Aim: The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply different massage techniques correctly, safely, and effectively, by familiarizing them with the fundamental concepts of massage, its historical development, and its place in the field of physiotherapy. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | Content: The course covers the mechanical, physiological, and psychological effects of massage; massage applications for the upper and lower extremities, back, lumbar, cervical, face, and abdominal regions are taught both theoretically and practically. Furthermore, the purposes of massage in sports and the principles of clinical application are examined. |
