OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Patoloji işlemleri, histokimya teknikler ve örneklerin patolojik inceleme için hazırlanması aşamaları öğrenmek ve teknikleri bilmektir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Patoloji laboratuvarının iş akışı, prosedürler, örneklerin alınması, fikse etmesi, makroskopi inceleme, örnekleme, doku takibi, gömme, kesit alma ve mikrotomlar, boyama ve monte etmeyi tüm ayrıntılarıyla ve sıvı materiyalı hazırlama işlemleri öğrenmek.

Bir biyopsinin alınmasından mikroskobik incelemeye kadar olan tüm aşamalar arasında ilişki kurup, değerlendirir.
Işık mikroskobu ve diğer mikroskop çeşitlerini kullanır.
Doku gömme, mikrotom ve çeşitleri, kesit alma gibi işlemleri tanımlar.
Manuel ve otomatik doku takibi prosedürlerini uygular.
Fiksasyon, fiksatifler ve kullanımları, fiksasyonu etkileyen faktörleri tanımlar.
