OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı; Patoloji laboratuvarında güvenli çalışma esaslarını uygulamayı göstermek, ışık mikroskobunu kullanım ve bakım becerisini kazandırmak, laboratuvar cihazlarını tanıma ve kullanabilme yetisini sağlamak, gelen organların doku takibine hazırlamak, fiksatifleri hazırlamak ve doku fiksasyonunu sağlamak, mikrotomda ve kriyostatta kesit hazırlamak gibi becerilerin kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Patoloji laboratuvarında biyopsi kabulü, makroskopi, doku takibi, bloklama, kesit alma konularında gözlem ve uygulama.

Patoloji laboratuarında güvenlik ve çalışma kurallarını sıralar, kullanılan sarf malzemelerini tanır ve uygun şekilde kullanır.
Patoloji laboratuvarında kullanılan kimyasal maddelerin tanır ve güvenlik kuralları çerçevesinde kullanır.
Patoloji laboratuvarında bulunan tüm cihazları tanır, kullanır.
Laboratuvara gelen organ ve doku parçalarının fiksasyonunu sağlamak için fiksatifleri hazırlar, fiksasyonu sağlar, manuel ve otomatik doku takibini gerçekleştirir.
Laboratuvara gelen organ ve doku parçalarının mikroskobik incelemeye hazır hale getirir.
