OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to teach basics of sustainability and applications in civil engineering.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course consists of introduction to sustainability, economic sustainability, social sustainability, enviromental sustainablity, constrcution indusry in Turkey and the world, sustainable land use, sustainable infrastructure management, applications in enviromental engineering, applications in geotechnical engineering, applications in transportation engineering, applicaitons in structural engineering, carbon footprint calculations, tomorrow's sustainability.
