OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to teach the appropriate approaches in order to assess and determine the treatment programmes in different age groups and purposes of the exercise treatment, classification of exercises and to teach the planning of exercise programmes, to gain appropriate exercise programme planning while determining the factors which affect normal range of motion, to improve problem solving and to improve performing exercise programme after the determination according to basic assessment and measurement methods.
Contents of the Course Unit: Approaches for the assessment and improving programmes, purposes, effects and principles of exercise treatment, classification of exercise and planning exercises programmes, planning and application of exercises programmes, while determining the problems in normal range of motion, teaching to plan exercise programmes and application in different postural problems.

Knows the definition, objectives, effects of basic therapeutic exercises.
Creates treatment plan for exercise therapy, implements properly, makes follow-up, advances the program.
Associates the exercises with other modalities used in physiotherapy and rehabilitation to increase the effectiveness of exercise therapy.
Plans the exercise program , implements, solves problems in unforeseeable circumstances.
Gains the skills needed for ability of manipulation and maneuvers which are used for exercise treatments.
Gains enough communication and practice experience to make exercise to patients and healthy ones
