OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Ability to identify problems at the level of impairment, activity and participation in cases (pediatric, neurological, cardiopulmonary problems or sports injuries in amputee patients) that physiotherapists encounter frequently during their clinical work, and to determine appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches in the light of evidence-based scientific data, and information on solving patient-centered clinical problems and skills acquisition.
Contents of the Course Unit: Clinical problems in physiotherapy, clinical problem solving stages, confusing situations in clinical problem solving, different clinical problem solving strategies, clinical questioning in clinical problem solving.

The ability to use case-related information obtained as a result of searching library and web-based resources is perfected.
Evaluates the problems at the level of disorder, activity and participation with case definitions after case studies and physiotherapy evaluation within the group.
Explain personal and environmental factors that affect activity and participation restrictions
Applies the biopsychosocial model to clinical decision making
