OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To teach measurements and assesment methods of sports physiotherapy, to give ability of practise.
Contents of the Course Unit: Identification of sports physiotherapy, sports in childeren and women, knowledge of training, sports physicology, nutrition in sports, doping, physical fitness, sports injuries, healing processes, return to sports.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Defines the principles of measurement and evaluate sports physiotherapy approach.
Know physical fitness and tests applied to healthy subjects and athletes according to age group.
Define Healthy subjects according to age group athletes and fitness issues according
Defines the subject of training information and sport psychology.
Define first aid and pre- treatment of sports injuries.
Plans and implements the basic level of functional rehabilitation program needed to return to Sports.
Defines the criteria of sports injuries after the return of the athletes.
